We were called to a commercial property in Ta’ Xbiex after the client was told during renovation works that water was still entering the premises.
Commercial leaks need fast clarity because every delay can affect finishing works, tenants, contractors and reopening plans. The right inspection helps the owner understand whether the problem is still active before more money is spent.
What the inspection checked
The team carried out a visual inspection and then used thermal imaging across the affected ceiling area. A strong cold pattern was visible in the ceiling, supporting the contractor’s concern that water was still manifesting in that area.
The finding gave the client a clearer basis for the next repair or investigation step, instead of continuing the renovation around an unresolved moisture problem.
Why this matters
In commercial premises, a leak is rarely just a leak. It can delay works, damage finishes, interrupt business and create arguments between owners, tenants and contractors.
If water appears during or after renovation works, book a commercial leak detection inspection so the affected area can be checked before it is covered again.
